#315 - November

Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, I've gained a new appreciation for the month of November. Although it begins to rain more and more, the sun does still make appearances and the foliage is still quite colorful. Autumn lasts longer here than it did in other places I've lived. In Vermont and Michigan's UP, November usually meant the imminent arrival of snow was drawing near. November usually meant the arrival of winter....but it's not the case here, and I'm loving it!
As we drove through northern CA and southern OR yesterday, we were treated to beautiful displays of color in the trees and vineyards. I'm thankful it's still very much autumn here, and I'm not waking up to snow!
