We are so thankful we were able to sign our side of the paperwork to close on the new house. The official closing date is next Friday (Aug 27), but on this side, our work is done.
In a couple hours I'm off to the airport. I am thankful for the 2 hour nap I got to take with my precious girls today. I'm hoping to get a couple hours of sleep during my first flight tonight.
Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. It's been a teary day for me. I know my family will be fine without me, but it doesn't diminish the fact that I will miss them terribly. The girls are planning "Narnia Week" with Kevin. I'm not sure what all it entails, but I'm sure it will involve a lion costume and a dress (Sydney likes to be Aslan and Kayleigh likes to be Susan). I heard them tell Kevin to wear all brown and be the wardrobe.

I was inspired by my friend, Juli, to start this blog. It is simply an outlet for me to mindfully and intentionally give thanks to God for the many blessings He has bestowed on me.

Oh Jill, we have a prayer here in Wisconsin: God bless you with "foo-foo moments". It's like we say girly drinks are "foo-foo", so special "foo-foo" moments are moments of special love kisses from God. Moments where you know He is right there with you and connecting with you. Be safe. Give your girls "foo-foo's" too.
And, Kevin - but he's a guy...so give him guy moments. :=)
