#219 - Haiti Foundation of Hope

Since moving to the Portland area, we have been introduced to a ministry in Terre Blanche, Haiti. Kevin signed up for a medical mission trip BEFORE the earthquake. And we decided to sponsor a nursing LDP student through Compassion in hopes that Kevin could meet her while in Haiti. This was also BEFORE the earthquake.

Last night we had the opportunity to meet Pastor Delamy and his wife...haitians working in the village of Terre Blanche. And we got to learn more about Haiti Foundation of Hope. Our church partners with HFH and helps organize medical mission trips.

I'm so thankful that Kevin will get to be a part of this ministry in November.

Wow -- this is exciting! I went to Haiti in 2001 -- it's going to be a life-changing experience for sure. Maybe you can take a gift to my sponsored child there. :)
