I have quite a few friends... each one from some part of my life. One of the blessings of having lived so many places, is that I have met so many people. Some of my good friends, I've never even met face-to-face. But it seems like most of my friends are going through stuff right now that needs prayer.
I am thankful that they can call me or email me, asking for prayer. I am thankful I have friends who know I care. Most importantly, I'm thankful that I can lay all these requests at the feet of God, knowing it's all in HIS hands!

It is so reassuring to know that there is something we can do to help, even when life is hard for people we care about. Another parent with her child at the same home daycare Pk goes to just lost her job yesterday and hers is the primary income in their family. I felt so terrible for her and praying is what I can offer for her, too. I think that one of the best parts about being a Christian is knowing that we are never alone.
By the way, I like your new layout!
Amen! To both of the above. We truly need each other! It's great to rejoice with our joys and know that we pray for each other through the hard stuff (like losing your income).
