#123 - I'm Not a Penguin
This post isn't as serious as most, but today I'm thankful I'm not a penguin!
Why?
I'm so glad you asked...let me explain.
We have been studying penguins this week here at Foley Preschool/Kindergarten and this is what we read today...
"The chicks can't eat whole food yet. So penguin parents swallow down their food, then bring it back up as a thick past and feed it to their chicks."
I bet you, too, are thankful you aren't a penguin!

I think canines do this too... puppies will instinctively lick their mother's mouth after she eats and it causes her to regurgitate food for them to eat. YUCK.
