#30 - A fun vacation

We are back from our vacation, and we all had so much fun. We got to spend time with family and friends. We got to relax and enjoy yummy food. We got to explore new areas and revisit some favorite spots.

I love, love, love flowers and plants, and I got to see many beautiful ones last week! I am thankful for the beauty God surrounds us with every day!

And now we are home and gearing up for a busy, busy month!

Today is my friend Carrie's birthday. We met in Vermont shortly after my daughter, Sydney, and her son, Peyton, were born. Happy Birthday Carrie...I'm thankful for you!

#25 - Friends to Walk with and Talk to

Last night I was exhausted after getting home from our picnic, but I called up my good friend here and met her for a walk. It was refreshing to get out and talk with her, as adults. I see her several times a week, but there are always multitudes of smaller feet running around us. I'm thankful for my good friends...the ones where I live and the ones where I used to live!!!

#24 - Busy Summer Days

I feel like I've been too busy to keep up with this blog....but that's just an excuse. You can never be too busy to be thankful. I am thankful for all the summer activities that this season brings. Although exhausting, it's fun to have a full schedule sometimes!

#23 - Another Beautiful Day

When summer finally comes to the UP, we get pretty nice weather. Today is no exception...another day of sun and temps in the 70s. The days start off and end cool, but mid day and evening is just perfect!

I'm thankful it's Friday...two days to spend as a family.

#21 - A Contract on Our House

I'm am so thankful that we were able to reach an agreement with the person wanting to buy our house. It's been back and forth all week, but it appears we have reached an agreement. Praising God that this HUGE hurdle has been cleared.

I am so thankful for this precious gem, too. Both of my daughters hold a special place in my heart, but it is this little girl who made me a momma. I love watching her grow and reach new phases in life. I am thankful that God has allowed me to be the one to go through it with her. What a joy Sydney is.

Today I am thankful for this sweet gem....I am thankful for her sweet spirit and all the characteristics that make her unique. I especially love her smile that melts my heart and her pouty lip that breaks my heart. I am so thankful that God has given this precious girl to me to raise.
